Did you think the three foolproof marketing ideas were idiotic?
Too simple to do any good?
You may have because I get all sorts of mails on them (most are quite rude).
But I can prove their genius. I know – a bold statement – but bear with me, it involves you doing some work.
Let’s just remind ourselves of Mr Bird’s three gems:
1. Talk more often to your prospects.
2. Add urgency in some way, shape or form.
3. Make a better offer.
Now I’ll bet the shirt on my back, just two of these gems increase your profits in a few days.
Here’s all you need do:
If you mail your list once a quarter, mail it once a month.
Or if you mail once a month, mail once a week.
Already mailing once a week? Try a week or two of mailing once a day.
I have no idea why folk are so squeamish about mailing prospects more often. It’s bizarre. But give it whirl. I promise you, you’ll carry on doing it when you see the results.
Hopefully, you are now thinking what to mail them? I hope so, because that would mean you’re giving this some serious thought.
Just mail your list anything that creates urgency. A looming price increase always works well. And isn’t it time you put your prices up anyhow?
That’s it. Try it.
Still giving it some thought? That’s a start, but on its own, it won’t do anything. You need to act: two or three mailings are all you need to see if I’m full of hot air or not.
